Ice Pops in January??

Who makes ice pops on the coldest day we've had this year..........WE DO!!! We received this super cool pop maker this past Christmas...(thanks John, Betsy & Margo)and Allie-Ann has been telling me each day that she wants to make an ice pop. So today she came in with the recipe book and said, "Mommy, when are we going to make these?"How do I explain to an eager 3 year old that she has to wait until it's warmer for us to make ice pops....it just doesn't happen. So what did we do, we picked out a pop that we wanted to make and had ice pops on the coldest day of the year. I must say, they were delicious and very easy to make. The best part is the pops freeze in minutes. It's awesome, so we didn't have to wait too long and our 3 year old was a very happy camper. Here are some pictures of the ice pop making.

We made the CPB...Chocolate Peanut Butter. We have a mission to make all the pops in the recipe book because they all look ridiculously delicious.

Getting all the supplies ready

Warming the peanut butter and chocolate (in a separate sauce pan)

Here is our Ice Pop Maker. Love it!

Waiting patiently...

Oh...it was so worth the wait!!

And of course......the drop...no worries, the pop maker makes 6 pops.
