Today we went to Greenville to see Pinkalicious and it was absolutely adorable! We organized a play date with Allie-Ann's best friend so that she could have a friend to see the play with her. They had the best time and honestly mommy and Charlotte's mommy had a great time too. We will definitely be back for another performance this summer! And if you are ever in Greenville you have to try the Chocolate Moose.
Allie-Ann and Charlotte meeting Pinkalicious!
We had to find the little mice that were hidden around downtown...there are 9 total but we only found 4.

Atlanta Mini-Vacay 2014
We decided to take the girls on a little trip to Atlanta this week. It was seriously a last minute trip (I booked room/tickets two days before going). But, we had the best time! The girls were awesome and we laughed and played the entire time. We went to the Atlanta Zoo on Saturday since it was Educator's Day (Kyle and I both got in FREE!) and since we are members of our zoo back home we got 50% of of Allie-Ann's ticket...score! The girls loved the zoo and there were so many things for them to do and see. I think Allie-Ann and Belle's favorite part was the playground though...ha!
After the zoo, we went downtown to check into our hotel. Our hotel was massive but an added plus was that it had an indoor pool, which was heaven for the girls and I must say for us too after a long day at the zoo. We hit the sack early and woke up to go to the Georgia Aquarium, which opened at 9:00am today. We wanted to get there early so we could beat the crowds and it was a smart decision because we really had the aquarium to ourselves for the first hour. We hit all the hot spots so we didn't have to fight the crowds. The girls were just amazed at all the fish and sea creatures. Belle was more amused with the changing lights of the exhibit walls.
We also were able to experience the Dolphin Tales show, which was entertaining. After an eventful day at the aquarium, with two pink dolphins as souvenirs...the girls are in their beds tonight worn out from the busy weekend in Atlanta. We will definitely put this on our list to do again. Sometimes it's the spontaneity that leads to great memories.
The girls studying the map before getting started.
I will say that it was a pretty neat playground.
Animal touching etiquette....one finger rule.
We spent some time in the petting zoo...Allie-Ann had to brush each goat...geesh.
Belle preferred to just observe...no touching for this girly girl.
Mommy having a little fun with the stuffed animals.
Of course we had to participate in the face painting.
Baby Pandas...adorable!
Allie-Ann wanted to do this shot.
Just a little journaling of the animals observed...only Allie-Ann.
Precious baby gorillas...Belle's fave!
Along with this little elephant!
The next morning...I just love Allie-Ann's morning face.
This one too!!
The girls at the Atlanta Aquarium
I could have watched the sea dragons all day...just so cool!
Peek-a-Boo!
One of the aquarium workers told us that she had never seen the octopus so active as it was today.
