Tis the Season....

We've had a busy couple of weeks trying desperately to get all the Christmas shopping completed, see Santa, fight crowds everywhere and decorate the house. I still haven't put our lights out and thinking seriously about not doing it this year. It may just be me not able to handle it with working full-time and raising children but it seems as if I have absolutely no time at all to do these things. And Kudos to those that can manage it all with little ones, I'm just not there yet and may never be. But, we have our tree up and our stockings hung by the chimney with care.  So we are ready for ol' Saint Nick. Here are a few pictures we've taken to get ready for Christmas.

Here the girls are helping pick out our Christmas tree...an annual tradition.

Daddy, being the funny guy he is, showing off his mad tree cutting skills.

So we've done gymnastics...check, didn't work out, we've done soccer....check, didn't work out, and we've now done dance and ballet....check, it isn't working out! I believe the next thing on our list will be theatre or art because I know these are two things she will like. As much as I want her to like dance and sports, I don't believe they will be in her future.

Spending some time at Build-a-Bear....which was bribery for getting the girls out of a huge line to see Santa at the mall. I wasn't about to wait 2 hours...call me a bad mom. But, I had a backup plan.

Backup plan, see a much cooler Santa at Sportsman's Warehouse. He was even decked out in camo...can't beat that! There wasn't even a line and the girls got to talk much longer than what they would have at the mall. Santa even brought one of his reindeer...ha!
