First Snow Day

Allie-Ann had her first snow day today!!! It was only a dusting but snow nonetheless. We wrapped her up in some warm clothing (actually her Halloween chicken costume) and took her out to see it. I wish it were more but at least we got a day off from work to watch the inauguration and spend more time together. Enjoy the snow for those who got any!!

Cloth diapers vs. Pampers Contest

Okay, so here is the deal. My lovely husband and I are having this war between the cloth diapers and disposable diapers. Every time I leave for an outing I come back to find my sweet, beautiful child in Kushies (Cloth diapers). So, the problem is not the kushies but how she looks in them. They are so BIG that she looks deformed (see picture below). So, I keep telling my adorable husband that she is just not ready for them quite yet, but he has refused to take that as an answer and is afraid that I'm killing polar bears. So...all those that are looking and reading my blog please help me out by writing a comment on what you think. Ditch the cloth diapers and continue using the pampers so that my little girl can wear pants or do you think she looks cute in the HUGE, GIANTIC, CLOTH KUSHIE!!!!! Respond below, my husband will stop putting the cloth diapers on her if we get enough responses. SO, please help me in the cause "NO MORE CLOTH DIAPERS."

First Feeding!!

Allie-Ann had her first feeding this morning. I went for her 4 month checkup last week and my Ped. adviced me that it was now time to start her on rice cereal. So, I tried this morning and it was a MESS!!! But, she took it well and I believe she even likes it. So, I took a video of it, of course, and some pictures for you to see what we have to come. My ped. said that we could start fruit in a couple of weeks. Enjoy!

Big 4m today!!!!!

Yes, Allie-Ann is now 4 months old and how she has changed!!!! She is now rolling like a rolly polly all around the house. So to give ourselves our living room back we moved our dining room table to the kitchen and now her play things are in the dining room. As parents you do what you have to do right? When I go to get her in the morning I find that I no longer see those bright blue eyes staring up at me, now I see the back of her head. She loves her tummy now!!! Also, no longer can I wear my dangling earrings, because she is pulling at everything. I believe we are going to have our hands full in another month, she is growing so fast. So, here are some 4m pictures and some pictures of her at the museum.

Happy New Years!!

This says it all doesn't it!!! Well, I hate to see 2008 go away b/c it was so good to our family. With the birth of Allie-Ann, our health, and getting National Board Certified, YEAH BABY, it's been pretty darn good. But, I know each year from here on out will be exciting with our little one. I wish everyone a blessed 2009!!!!
