I'm a celebrity.....

sort of, I'm on this website....check it out...Hollow Creek Tree Farm. I just received an email from them reminding us of coming out to get our Christmas Tree and decided to check out their website for a coupon. We always go to Hollow Creek to get our "real" Christmas Tree and I have to have a coupon because the trees can get quite expensive but I'm all about the smells of a real Christmas tree in our house so I spend the money, which is well worth in, in my opinion. So when I went to their website, who should I see.....Allie-Ann and Me, right on the front page. I can even remember when they took this picture, not thinking that two years later we would be on their main web page. I got quite the kick out of it. So when I go this year, I'm going to wear my shades and have my body guards with me so that I can be protected by the Paparazzi. Ha. It's going to be even more fun this year having two girls to go hunting for the perfect tree, which for those of you who know me best is an all day affair. I can't wait!!!

Belle had her 4 month checkup, not a single cry from her....I'm telling you, I think this little chick is from another planet. I don't want to compare my two girls but, boy, are they sooooooooo different! With Allie-Ann, one single touch of the stethoscope sent her into hysteria. So seeing Belle just coo and smile is something I'm not used to. Allie-Ann went with me this time and she was so cute trying to comfort Belle, she kept saying, "It's going to be alright, if you're good, you will get a sticker" Here are Belle's Stats:
Weight: 13 lbs. 13 oz. 41%
Height: 25 in. 71%
Head: Can't remember but it was 50%

She can now start eating fruit mixed in her oatmeal...this is so sad for me to even think about starting her on solids. She is growing way to fast for my liking.

Farmer Dress Up Day

Allie-Ann had Farmer Dress Up Day at her preschool. Her class was visited by a real "farmer" who brought a baby chick for them to touch; Allie-Ann was over the moon! She is really getting into all this dress up garb. Just yesterday she was making a telescope out of black construction paper and told me that she wanted to be a pirate. So of course I had to make her an eye patch and matching hat to go with her telescope. I just love the 3s! So here are some pictures.

Also we are taking Belle to her 4 month checkup and I will be posting about that soon. I'm taking Allie-Ann with me so that she can see that she's not the only one who has to get a shot...ouch! I'm curious to see how much our little Belle is going to weigh in at. She continues to be the most content, mellow Bello!

Argh Matey!!

Our farmer...the best I could do. This is her 24m denim jumper that still fits!!!

Thanks Kampa for letting us borrow your treasured hat! Ha.

A weekend with family

We spent the weekend in York with the family and had such a good time catching up with everyone. Kyle's brother flew in from Colorado for a long weekend visit with his new fiance Molly, who by the way is the sweetest, most down-to-earth girl. We will be making THE big trip this summer to Colorado to attend the wedding and can I just say, I can't wait! It will be the first big trip for our family of four, so it should be fun, we are deciding the best mode of transportation....flight or road trip. I'm thinking road trip, I can't possibly imagine toting two girls on a plane, both of which, will still be in a car seat or booster. I remember the last trip to Colorado when Allie-Ann was only 18 months old. Although she did very well on the plane...thanks to the flight harness we used as opposed to toting a car seat, it was still so stressful. However, traveling 8+ hours a day in a car might not be so pleasant as well. But we have time to plan and get prepared. I took a few pictures of Allie-Ann with her cousin Ella this weekend. It's going to be fun seeing the girls grow up together, and very soon Belle will be in the mix.

Hanging out with the cousins...Lottie and Ella!

Poor Allie-Ann had a cold, so she looked rough in these pictures.
Playing in the sandbox
Little Belle and Ella sitting with Grammyma
Allie-Ann having fun in the tub!
Kampa with both girls, that's one happy Kampa!

Donuts for Daddy...or is it Donut for Allie-Ann?

Allie-Ann's preschool had Donuts for Dads this morning and Allie-Ann was the first to get HERSELF a donut, and she thought the idea of only having half a donut hysterical. While there they made a craft and the daddies got to read to their child. It was too cute and I'm glad Kyle got to go even though Allie-Ann sat to listen to another daddy read a story. She did eventually let Kyle read 3 stories before he had to go back to work.

What Am I Thankful For Today...

There are many things I'm thankful for.....my health, my families health, my beautiful children, my ability to see the leaves change but for today and today only I'm thankful for........A POTTY TRAINED ALLIE-ANN!!!! Yes, yes, yes....she went the entire weekend free from accidents, we took her places with just her undies on and she did great! Honestly, I've never been more proud of this moment. And I truly believe it was just her time to say....okay, I've had enough of torturing my mommy, it's time to do what I've known how to do since the first time I sat on the potty at 18 months old and did the deed. Wow...what a journey we have been through and I, quite frankly, could write a book on this...truly!! I'm also thankful for Halloween and all the candy I have been able to use as rewards...for Allie-Ann and for me of course.

Did I mention that Allie-Ann has booked two weddings already as the flower girl. We went for a fitting the other weekend and she was in heaven. It's hard to know how Allie-Ann is going to respond to things because she really is a lizard chasing, dinosaur lovin' kind of girl, so taking her to try on dresses, I thought, might have been a disaster but she just LOVED it and wanted to touch each and every one of the dresses.  It was precious and she even did a twirl. Can I just say it already made me teary-eyed just seeing her try them on...oh boy and I have two girls. Casey...you did such a good job picking out the dresses, your wedding is going to be beautiful and we can't wait!

In addition to the one twirl that she did, Allie-Ann spent most of the time doing squats...not sure what she was thinking but the dress accommodated her.

Belle is 4 Months!

Belle is 4 months old! She is simply adorable and I'm having the time of my life being her mommy. Here are some of the things she is up to lately:
*Rolling around from side to side, back to tummy (struggling going from tummy to back)
*Is sitting supported but is really starting to be more independent. She will sit for about 5 seconds before falling to the side...I catch her though.
*She loves to be held and snuggled, and I'm finding that she prefers to be in my lap than anywhere else.
*Has a love/hate relationship with some of her pull toys. She likes to bat at them but gets frustrated when she can't grab them to put in her mouth.
*I believe she's going to be a thumb sucker...she puts her finger in her mouth all the time, all it's going to take is finding her thumb and we are done...maybe she's teething???
*Enjoys mirrors
*Loves her sister and is quite entertained by her
*Only gets fussy when hungry
*Goes to bed at 7:00pm, gets up around 4:00am and then goes back to sleep after being fed till 7:00-8:00am....I know a dream, right? I know it will not be like this forever, she can't be this good.
*Still can't get past 3 hours before wanting to be fed, I try to distract her but at that 3 hour ticker she WANTS TO BE FED. Maybe adding solids soon will help with that.
*Eating Oatmeal but doesn't like it.
*Coos ALL THE TIME!!

Here's a look back to see how she is changing

Of course I have to compare...Do you see any similarities between the two?

And just because I thought these were too cute, I had to post.
