We are back from our little mini-trip to the mountains (thanks Betsy and John). We had such a great time but traveling with a 23 month old and 4 year old can at times be very nerving. They both were champs about 85% of the time...ha. But, at least we were able to get some fresh air and see some awesome scenery. As adventurous as Kyle and I are we have seriously slowed down as parents. Instead of finding the most strenuous hiking trips we look now for paved, kid-friendly ventures. But at the end of the day, as we tote our girls around we find that with children you might as well say that you went on a 15 mile hiking trip....because it feels like it by the time you put them to bed. Brevard is really a neat place and being disconnected for several days was very refreshing!
I really, really wanted to go here to eat but it was a little too fancy for our little girls (no kids menu...boo!)
So, we went right next door to Marco's which was very delicious!
As you can see...
We ate breakfast every morning outside...it was wonderful! Pop Tarts...champion of breakfast.

Let the Camp Fun Begin...
Today was Allie-Ann's first day at Zoo Camp. She was super excited about seeing her friend Charlotte at camp. Her mom and I planned it to have both girls in the same group during the same week. When I went to pick Allie-Ann up today she was in tears....I asked her what was wrong and she said that she was not in Charlotte's group. Oh, the drama. After settling her down and fixing the minor error, she was reassured that she would be in Charlotte's group tomorrow. I also let her know that part of the fun of going to camp is meeting new friends...to which she tells me, camp is only for old friends....ha! At any rate, I do hope she comes out smiling tomorrow.
Just a video of Belle that Kyle made that I'm just now posting.

The Girls' Teachers
Just wanted to post a picture of the girls' teachers. We were so blessed to have them in our lives this year. It was a tough transition but with their love and support, my girls were able to thrive. We will miss them next year!
On a different note, have you ever gone to your hair stylist to find out that you looked better before you went. I wanted a change and this is what I got. I went with a full color this time but I really don't see much difference. Oh well, it was still a lot of fun to spend two hours having someone fix your hair.
Before...
After...
And yes, I changed the size of these pictures because no one wants to see a big size picture of me...ha.
