Mischievous Allie Ann

So if this is any indication for what we have to come, we are in trouble!!!! Yes, she is already causing quite a stir. This morning she was playing on her playmat while I was reading and the next thing I knew she was MIA again!!!!! But, as I was looking for her I saw a hand pop out underneath the couch that we have in our office. She had managed to roll under it and play hide-and-seek. She loved pulling the blanket over her as she was hiding. So, on to another story. We bought Allie Ann a mobile before she was born b/c it was supposed to help with her vision and development. Well, as you can see in the video she has learned how to grab it so it will stop playing and spinning. In fact, it's really our alarm clock for when she wakes up in the morning b/c she will push the button for it to play. Yeah, I don't know what we are going to do, we're already having a time and she's only 5 months old.

The hand under the couch...Allie Ann thinking "No one will find me now!!!"

Here I am Mommy!!!
This is so much fun!!

Where can I hide next...

Just hangin' out with the dogs

Yeah,so it's a rainy day and Allie-ann is laying around with the dogs. She loves them and whenever they get near her she just squeals, it's too funny. Even when the dogs are wrestling around on the floor she just laughs and laughs. I think the dogs will be sleeping in her room very soon. We also took her to her first Gamecock Basketball game. So here are some pictures, she could only make it to the third quarter. But, Carolina won, so far I believe she is good luck for the Gamecocks.

Hanging out with Luke

Allie-ann's new high chair

For Valentine's Day we decided to get Allie-ann a high chair. With starting stage 1 baby food, we thought it was time to get the chair. Kyle wanted the $29.99 special but I talked him out of it. It was a tough decision but we went with Fisher Price. It doesn't go with any of our decor as you soon will see, but she liked it best.

Allie-Ann is 5 months old today!!

So, here she is at 5 months of age and I can't believe all the things she can do. We now have to chase her around the house b/c she has this inhumane ability to roll REAL fast. Kyle and I will be having a conversation with Allie-Ann playing on the floor and the next thing we know she is MIA. Yeah, she's pretty active already. She can say a few more vowels and sounds. She is starting to enjoy spitting her fruit out at me. She LOVES when the dogs bark and will laugh every time. We took a walk the other day and another dog in the neighborhood starting barking in a mean way and she thought that it was the funniest thing. Go figure. She is sitting almost without support, she will hold her position for a little while but then tumble over. She can pass one toy from one hand to another and is drooling a lot now. Which makes me think she could possibly be teething. Each day we see more and more of her personality which is fun. As you can see, I believe it's going to get harder to get a steady picture of her on my pillow.

First Trip to the Park and down the slide!!!

After going to church to have everyone laugh at Allie-Ann b/c she seems to LOVE the sermons we decided to have our very first picnic together as a family. It was another beautiful day so we thought we would go to Crooked Creek Park and have a picnic and spend some time outdoors. The park had three different play areas so we had our pick of slides. Needless to say, she was not impressed. I think it would have to be a bigger slide to get a chuckle. She's a daredevil. She did enjoy seeing the big green dinosaur that they had at the park. So, here are some pictures of her sliding for the first time and spending time at the park.

Silly Daddy!!!

WOW, who knew a picnic could be so much fun?

It's a Beautiful Day!

Today couldn't have been better with the weather, it's beautiful!!! So, we spent most of the day outside. It's going to be nice to be able to throw a blanket out and just lay Allie-Ann on it to enjoy the outdoors. Today's weather is making me anxious for spring. We are just loving our little girl.

Allie-Ann learns a new trick

So, as I was sitting on the computer working on some things..Allie-Ann has discovered the keys on the keyboard. She kept reaching out for them and wanting to hit them, so I found an infant computer game where she hits the keys and it will make a sound on the computer. She fell in love with the game, so here is a video of her computer skills at nearly 5 months old.
