We've been meaning to get the girls...well, Allie-Ann a bike for a while now because seeing her on her 2 year old trike is rather silly. And, since her school is having a bike day, we thought she needed an upgrade. As much as I'm sure she understood that this was an early birthday present, she was more than happy to pick out her very own bike. Luckily for us she has only fallen once so far. We are taking it slow and letting her decide how much she wants to be pushed. Belle, found a glider that she absolutely loves and has been foot peddling her bike all weekend. Seeing Allie-Ann on a bike for the first time is rather sad. She's growing so fast and the next set of wheels she will be driving will be here before we know it. Heaven help us!

Update....
Here are a few pictures to show what we have been up to. These last weeks of school are crazy-hectic, but we are filling them with precious memories. Count down to our Hawaii vacation begins!!
Belle on her very first pony ride...she felt so big!! I didn't think she would do it, but once she saw big sis, it was on! Sorry all these pictures are grainy, I've been using my iPhone for picture taking these days....lazy, lazy.
The girls' preschool gifts to their friends. I have to add the tag but super easy and fun!
Allie-Ann climbing the rock wall....fearless.

Love this Time of Year!
I just love this time of year, minus the pollen. The time of year when we can just wear flip flops and enjoy being outdoors. But, this time of year is also prime strawberry picking, and I get giddy driving out to our strawberry patch. Each year I see families bringing their little ones in these cute smocked dresses and as much as I think it would be such an adorable picture with all the beautiful strawberries, I just can't stomach it with my girls. I guess I know that I don't have the type of children that will just sit and pose for pictures and not get a bit dirty. The minute my girls get outside they are covered in dirt. So, every year my pictures are always the same...the girls just look country...ha! But, it's all good and fun and I love seeing how much strawberry juice they can get covered with.
Today I also ran a 5mile race for the first time in many years. I honestly can't believe I even finished because between work, raising two girls, and all the other crazy things involved in my life, I've had zero time to train. I run here and there but nowhere near the point of being in shape. But, I did it and I just love my husband for pushing me to do it!!
Didn't I say they looked 'country'...ha!

Happy Easter!!
We've had a great Easter this year. Although we didn't have the best weather to play in the sand, it was nice to be closed in for a couple days just sitting and playing with the girls. I love having time, it's our most precious gift. The girls enjoyed their day hunting eggs, eating chocolate, playing with a few of their bunny gifts and eating chocolate. I did have a chance to talk to Allie-Ann about the "real" reason we celebrate Easter because it's important for her to know. Here are a few pictures of our last few days of our spring break.
It was very cold but we had to take the girls out to the beach!
We kind of got carried away with the egg decorating since we were stuck inside most of the day due to the rain.

A Little Catch Up
We've been soooo busy! I'm completely wearing myself out. But, I'm in heaven right now taking a little break at the beach for some r&r. Here are a few pictures to share to explain why we have been so busy.
Allie-Ann had to present her research project on Rabbits. I know I've said this before, but she is really at a wonderful school. They have taught her so much and just listening to the children present their research was simply amazing.
Allie-Ann's favorite friend Holland. They both think they are going to get married. I thought the marriage talk would come a lot later....oh, my.

So we've been doing a lot of remodeling and painting. It's been due for our house but the hard part about this is managing it with a 5 and 2 year old.
Belle helping...bless her heart and mine.
