4th of July Continued...

We've had a busy 4th of July weekend, with parades, fireworks, lake fun and pool fun. Allie-Ann is pooped and so am I. Tonight was her earliest bedtime this whole weekend at 9:00pm. So this weekend of celebrating has definitely got her off routine but she is dealing with it like a champ. Here are a few more pics to mix in with the others.

Pool Time with Friends!!

Had a great day with some friends by the pool. Allie-Ann had a blast cooling off in the big pool. She's only been in kiddie pools this summer so it was nice to have her experience the deep end with her life jacket on of course. It was a lot of fun, thanks Karen!!

She was too funny, because all she wanted to do was lean back in her float and relax. She has to take after her mommy on this one.

She looks tired in this shot but soon after was jumping in the water and having mommy catch her.

Our Blueberry Venture

We took Allie-Ann this morning to our local blueberry farm to pick her favorite fruit these days. She absolutely LOVES blueberries so this trip was awesome. She had the best time and walked all through the bushes hunting the biggest blueberries. We tried to teach her how to pick the blueberries and put them in her bucket but once it hit the bottom she reached in and ate it. We must have picked for over an hour and she ate the entire time. She was so happy and content in the bushes. I love the fact that she is an outdoors girl!! We picked 10 lbs. of blueberries, so I'm going to bake us a blueberry pie or a blueberry cobbler, haven't made up my mind yet. I'm in the process of trying to freeze them while we still have some left. So here are pictures of our little blueberry hunter.
